Mr. Yair Herdan was
born 33 years ago in Haifa and his philosophy is that life is a daily
celebration to which every one is invited. Such is his approach to guiding
tours: exalting, joyfully but mostly innovating.
Mr. Herdan specializes in the Haifa region. He spent much of his childhood
playing in the narrow alleyways of the Wadi, predominantly home to Muslims and
Christians. He knows and tells the entire city’s soul little stories, stories
you will never find in any History book.

player it was only natural for him to add his tune to the tour creating a joyful
experience. As quoted from an article published last year in the Jewish
Telegraph: "… Mr. Herdan is heard before he is seen, guiding tours during which
he serenades tourists and locals alike…".
His personal recommendation to the new visitor in Israel: "Go to the market
place. For several years I am guiding special tours to Rosh Haayin street market
where all the surrounding Muslims, Christians and Jewish villagers present their
locally made merchandise side by side. You will find there a unique mixture of
captivating
smells, tastes, colors,
goods and typical mix-cultural articles which in a way represents the essence of
Israel".
Mr. Herdan has been working as a tour guide for almost 8 years with the company.
Part of Mr. Herdan’s secret of success is his continued innovations.
