Upon arrival in Israel (09:15AM) you
will be met by our representative to walk you through customs. Drive to the
old city of
Jaffa and
to walk through the charming alleys where the Church and Monastery of Saint
Peter reside. We will proceed to
Caesarea,
a
Roman
city with many archeological remains
such as the theater, the hippodrome and the city gate and enjoy the
computerized exhibitions of the city in Roman times. Caesarea is the place
where
Paul and Peter
were
held in prison before being
taken to Rome. Continue to
Haifa, visit the
Bah’im temple
with it’s beautiful 19 gardened terraces on
Mount Carmel
and
the
German Colony
with it’s reconstructed buildings from the 19th
century and enjoy what makes Haifa special and different, the people of the
city. After an early check in at the hotel in Haifa and a short rest we'll
visit
Usphia,
a Druze village on Mount Carmel, learn about the Druze people and the treaty
with the state of Israel, enjoy a traditional Druze dinner and folklore
dancing.

Visit
Mount Carmel
where the biblical story of the
confrontation between
Prophet Elijah
and the Ba’al
prophets
took place and overlook the Izrael
Valley. One
of the most amazing water system found in the archeological site of
Tell-Megiddo, from here we’ll observe the valley of Armageddon (Rev
16:14-16).
Drive by the Church of the
Annunciation in
Nazareth
to Mt. Precipice where an angry mob chased Jesus out of the synagogue and
out of the city, attempting to throw him off a cliff. (Luke
4:16-30). He had antagonized his fellow Nazarenes by applying the
Messianic words of Isaiah to himself. Drive to Cana where
the wedding miracle took place. Dinner and overnight stay in
Tiberius. |

Day 4: Sea of Galilee, Jordan
River. |

This day will be dedicated to the
Sea of Galilee
sites. We will start the day by
visiting
Capernaum
and have a remarkable Bible study in the
synagogue where Jesus preached. Proceed to the Church of Multiplication in
Tabgha,
where the Lord preformed the miracle of the
Loaves and Fishes.
Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee from
Mount of Beatitudes,
where Jesus taught the Beatitudes and have a special lunch at St. Peter's
fish restaurant. After sailing on a wooden boat on the Sea of Galilee we
will visit one of the most fascinating of the last discoveries: the Galilee
Boat. This boat was found in the mud of the sea and dated to Jesus times.
Drive by
Gadera, the place Jesus allowed the demons
to enter into the swine that drowned in the sea (Mark
5). When we come to the banks of
the
Jordan River,
some of our group will be able to baptize in this unique and unforgettable
place. Our tour around the Sea of Galilee will be completed by watching the
Galilee Experience show in
Tiberius; in this show you will discover the man and the history of the
Galilee. Dinner and overnight stay in Tiberius. |

Golan Heights, Mt. Bental, OZ 77, Caesarea Philippi, Biblical Dan. |

On this day we will visit
Mount Bental and have a
charming panoramic view on Syria and the Golan Heights.
We will proceed to
Kibbutz El-Rom
and watch the movie about the experience of OZ77 regiment commander and his
tank crew in the Yom Kippur War.
Visit
Caesarea Philippi where
Peter confessed Christ: “You are the Christ, the son of the living God” (Matt
16:15-16), we’ll explore
the Dan River which is the main water source for the Jordan River. Entering
the
Tel Dan Reserve is like
stepping into a wonderland, walking on the trails between the bubbling
brooks to the old city gate and altar will be a relaxing activity for the
end of the day. Dan was the capital of
the kingdom of Israel,
and the story of the golden calf relates to the altar found here (1
Kings 12:26-30). Dinner
and overnight stay in Tiberius. |

Day 6:
Beth Sean, Gideon's Spring, The Dead Sea, Qumran, Ein Gedi. |

We'll start our day at the Roman city of
Beth Shan, this city has
been destroyed by an earthquake and has never been discovered before. Visit
the city’s remains and learn about the dramatic end of the last war between
King
Saul and the Philistines,
learn how brave the residents of
Jabesh
were by taking the King’s and his son’s
corpses down from the wall of the city and burying them (1
Samuel 31). Tell the
amazing story of Gideon, how he reduced the ranks, and the test near the
spring before his great
victory over the Midianites
(Judges
7). Drive to the
Dead Sea area
through the Jordan Valley and the
Judean Desert. This
afternoon we will have the opportunity to bathe in the Dead Sea with its
famous
mud, Salt
and the salty water. Dinner and overnight stay at the Dead Sea. |

Day 7: Masada Ein Gedi, Qumran, Inn of the Good Samaritan, Genesis Land,
Jerusalem. |

Our morning will start at
Masada,
the last stronghold of the Jews during the great revolt, 2000 years ago. How
much is a man willing to sacrifice for his freedom? We’ll learn about the
dramatic story of almost one thousand men, women and children who committed
suicide in order to avoid Roman slavery. We’ll visit the archeological
remains of the palace, the bathhouse, the walls and enjoy the amazing view
of the Dead Sea. Walking on the paths of
Ein Gedi nature reserve
is a unique opportunity to learn about the importance this oasis has had
during the past and present. In
Qumran we will try to
answer questions like: Who wrote the
Dead Sea scrolls? Who
were the Essenes? We will climb to Jerusalem on the old road from Jericho
and stop at the
Inn of the Good Samaritan
to learn the teaching of
Jesus on our neighbors (Luke
10:25-37). Abraham will
host dinner for us in his tent in
Genesis Land, this
is a great opportunity to learn about the life in the desert and how Abraham
used to receive his guest. Overnight stay in Jerusalem. |

Room, Temple Instiute, Jewish Quarter). |

Our morning starts on
Mount of Olives with a
breathtaking panoramic view of Jerusalem. The day continues with visits to
the sites that will help us understand the Lord’s prophecy of Jerusalem:
The
Chapel of Dominus Flevit, where Christ prophesied the destruction of
Jerusalem (Luke
19:41), The Garden of Gethsemane (Luke
22:39-53) and The Church of the Agony (
Church of All Nations) - the site where it is said that Judas betrayed
Jesus. We will Proceed to visit sites on
Mt. Zion:
St. Peter in Gallicantu
Church which was built over the ruins of the Palace of Caiaphas - the High
Priest before whom Jesus was brought for trial (Mark
14:
53-65).
We’ll visit the
Tomb of King David
and have communion in the
Upper Room—the
site that commemorates Jesus’ last meal with his disciples.
In the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem
we will explore the Roman Cardo, the
Madaba Map,
and the Western Wall.
Continue to
the
Temple Institute
to learn about the works trough
their goal: “To see Israel rebuild the
Holy Temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem.
Dinner and overnight
stay in Jerusalem.

Day 9: Jerusalem (FZS, Israel
Museum).

We will meet and help our
FZS (For Zion’s Sake)
missionary in Israel. Drive to the
Israel Museum
to visit the
miniature
model
of the city of
Jerusalem from the times of the Second Temple, and the Shrine of the book
where the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient scriptures present. Dinner and
overnight stay in Jerusalem. |

Day 10: Jerusalem (City of King David, Pool
of Siloam, Yad Vashem). |

Our day will begin with an exciting tour to
the site where much of the Bible was written, The
City
of King David. In this place
archeologists found
King Hezekiah's
2,700 year old water tunnel, one of the
wonders of early engineering and the
seal impression of Gemariah son of
Shaphan
possibly the scribe of King Zedekiah (Jeremiah
36:10). Continue to the
Pool of Siloam
where Christ healed the blind man by sending
him to wash his eyes (John
9). Proceed
to
Yad
Vashem, the holocaust
museum, and visit the children’s Memorial,
Avenue of the Righteous, Among the Nations,
the
Hall of Remembrance, and
the new historic museum.
Dinner and overnight
stay in Jerusalem. |

Day 11: Jerusalem (Temple Mount,
Davidson Center, Bethesda Pool, Damascus Gate, Garden Tomb).

On the
Temple Mount we’ll hear
about the traders driven out of the temple by Jesus (Luke
19:45-48), explore the
Dome of the Rock
and other famous buildings.
We will visit
Davidson Center
with its amazing virtual model of
the second temple.
The
Church of
St. Anne is a beautiful Crusader church, erected over the traditional
site of the birthplace of Anne (Hannah), the mother of Mary.
Continue to
Bethesda Pool where Christ
healed the paralyzed man (John
5). Walk through the old
city to
Damascus Gate
and
Garden
Tomb.
Transfer to the airport for a night flight back home. |
